With a combined 40 + years of business ownership, Fortune 500 corporate experience and private employment, Donna Wood brings experience and hope to new business owners and entrepreneurs looking to grow. Most recently, she was the Co-Founder/President/CEO of Tierra Madre Landscape Services. Prior to selling her business in 2017, Tierra Madre was recognized as the largest woman-owned landscape maintenance company in the Southwest. In addition, she was recognized as one of less than 2% of women-owned businesses reaching sales in excess of $1,000,000 annually, let alone top annual sales in excess of $5million.
She is originally from Chicago, she has spent many years in the commercial construction and retail facilities management arenas. As President/CEO, Donna is the visionary leading Tierra Madre into the future. Donna has been working daily to keep TIERRA MADRE moving forward with PREMIER CUSTOMER SERVICE as the focal point and innovative, sustainable practices throughout the business such as the Arizona Tree Mission as part of TIERRA MADRE’s Mission, Donna is a firm believer in developing employees and encouraging continued growth and education.

Let's Get Personal
Donna really does love her work!! She enjoys ‘power’ hiking with her friends who can keep up! (Which ain’t many!) An avid fan of the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury and Arizona Diamondbacks, Donna is often seen downtown at the games. Yoga and meditation keep Donna somewhat relaxed (she’s a rather “high energy” person). Travel is another one of her passions and she hopes to go back to India and Nepal on a regular basis. Her ultimate goal is to see a new country every year and take a one-on-one trip with each of her three granddaughters and two grandsons.
Donna is a self-proclaimed ‘tree hugger’ and queen of recycling.
She loves the Desert Botanical Garden, organic gourmet cooking and keeping up with the latest health and nutrition news.
